the fashion world, everyone in it, everyone who follows it and everyone who is affected by it is feeling a huge loss today. i'm surprised at how emotional i feel about the death of someone i have never met. lee alexander mcqueen was a visionary, a genius. he influenced the way i think about fabric, print, volume, the overall presentation of a collection... i could go on but i am such a loss for words right now.one overwhelming feeling i have is the loss of the future collections he could have produced. i feel like his creativity was cut too short. he had so much still left in him. he was my hero and now hes gone. rest in peace.
