ashley florence and the deep flight of soul

emily and i had the immense pleasure of having an intimate photo shoot this weekend after the show. ashley florence was behind the camera and sarah jean simmons-meyer in front, both working their magic. i love these pictures.

lynchburg fashion scene

there was a great article in today's lynchburg news and advance and in the burg about the two new local fashion designers who will be debuting collections at this saturdays show- deidre stone with her label storm & stress (the link goes live after the show), and ashley-elain hudson with naughts & crosses.

its great. i'm so excited to be working with 2 new girls who are starting their own labels here in town. it feels like every season builds on itself and more and more people get interested in fashion. i can't wait to see the full collections!!!

the coolest shoes ever

im really excited. the dresses have been made, and now its time to accessorize.

chromat is so lucky this season to be partnering with consolidated shoe company with the shoes for the runway show. with the coordination by janine dangelewicz they will be donating all the shoes worn in the chromat show. all the shoes will be sold afterwords, so bring your wallet! here are a few of the styles that chromat will be using this season:

consolidated shoe company is a national company with their headquarters based right here in lynchburg. they have a showroom out at 22290 timberlake road (near 460) adjacent to the warehouse. and they have some REALLY CRAZY STUFF! things you might not ever expect to find in lynchburg. like these: i picked out some of my favorites aka the craziest and most colorful ones from their website http://www.musthaveshoes.com/. my favorite designer that they produce is definitely irregular choice.
