these wonders are from patrick costello, an amazing artist and friend of mine. here is an excerpt from his statement about these awesome works that i got to see last weekend:"my current work focuses on people trying to figure out how to live in the world and with the earth in the face of human-made environmental destruction. the pieces highlight small actions and intimate moments. vegetable gardening provides imagery that speaks to the idea of working from little pieces to build the world back up into something we want."

this lovely lady was spotted this afternoon rocking some serious spring 09 chromat at 900 church street, city hall. awesome!

while the runway shots from the fashion show on the 4th are marinating, here are some shots of the spring collection that were done in portland way back in february.
the model is a beautiful co-worker of emilys named kelly, and the photography and lighting was done by another co-worker named brent. (they all work at allied works architecture.)
