big weekend

okay wow! only one week till the big show, and im pretty much done! i sewed the labels on all the clothes and they are ready to hit the store running after the show. and... I SAW JD SAMSON DJ on friday night in charlottesville! it was sooooo awesome. i can't wait until this saturday when i get to dance like a fool again after the runway show.



all 3,000 of the runway models showed up to the rehearsal on saturday. compared to last seasons 15 girls, this is huge!

at this point in the game, the dresses have been made, the models have been fitted, and its just a countdown until the fashion show. which is AWESOME because last season at this time i still hadn't even designed or made about a forth of the looks.

so with that in mind- being done so early- its hard not to want to post it all up on the internet and show off all the hard work! BUT i want everyone to come to the fashion show on april 4th (9pm at the glass building at 1009 jefferson st, lynchburg) and i want everything to be a wonderful surprise!

however, yesterday i was accompanied by four beautiful girls and one beautiful guy to go on the tab o'neal show! the short and sweet 5 minute interview will air next thursday, april 2nd at noon on channel 13. tab is a really cool dude- he was entertaining us with crazy stories of being a dj in clubs in dc- and he was nice enough to take an interest in local fashion. i bumbled through a few questions and then got to show off the outfits. my models were awesome!

so since these 5 outfits will be out soon enough... i thought i would give a sneak preview.

the fashion show is only 2 weeks away! i've been running around sewing up the final looks and having lots of great fittings with the beautiful models. without giving too much away- so there is still some surprises at the show- heres some chromat in action.

jesse, joy and kim came to the studio on saturday, got all made up by sam from fusion and then put on some chromat for our floral on floral photo shoot with kim raff! it looked awesome!!! i dont want to give it away before the final pictures are released... which will be soon... but look at this!

so blair amberly of speakertree and i just finished putting together a new zine about religion and sexuality. its a topic that is rich in depth of content, so i tried to do it justice by digging out old religious paintings from a million years ago that i had ripped out of an old art history book and pair them with recent ads for clothing and tv shows.
